Poems

Night has spilled watercolor of cerulean...

Night has spilled watercolor of cerulean.

Fishes were gazing

Through the sea at the stars.

Who has created this?

1980

My darling, my darling...

My darling, my darling,

Like firework explosions

The heart is exploding because of your love

And dripping like colorful stars from the sky

And silently fading away in warm hands.

My darling, my darling,

Like damp of the sea that sprinkles the wind,

Is giving the hope

Plunge into the wave at the parched sunny noon-day,

Forgetting to turn back, losing the clothes...

So morning and evening

Are gifts of your voice

And trembling of leaves right before heavy rain,

And hunger of fire for a pliant brushwood

And gladness of breathing at night and by day.

1997

My world's got tired...

My world's got tired,

And stars fall peeling from the skies,

And no more glowing fairy wings.

I'll fall asleep with him.

Let the sun rise.

Another world it brings,

He'll wear another guise.

How can I outlive this pain...

How can I outlive this pain?

I'd like to live some more.

How can I outlive this pain?

And my wings not to fold.

How can't I tumble from the heights

Down to the meadow full of flowers?

Oh, Lord! My scream is in my throat

And ready to burst out.
